INTRODUCTION

It has more than a century under its belt yet has lost none of its strength – quite the contrary, in fact. Sanctissimus is powerful and stately, all the way from its stocky vines to the very extremities of its ancient roots. This Pinot Bianco can stand proud among the exceptionally opulent wines, holding its own in every regard. Grown on the extremely steep slopes of the south-facing Vigna location below the church in Missian, then aged in clay amphora, Sanctissimus is truly the jewel in the winery’s crown.

TASTING NOTES

This wine promises a complex aroma experience and develops on the palate very dense and mineral. A nice match between acidity, fruit and complexity characterises this Pinot Blanc. Brilliant straw yellow. Complex nose, shows notes of ripe apple, with fine spicy notes, of sage. On the palate, voluminous, juicy, creamy and persistent on the finish.
