Deep Woods Estate Hillside Chardonnay 2019
Margaret River – Australia

From James Halliday’s Winemaker of the Year 2019, Julian Langworthy, this is a wine that showcases Deep Woods’ dedication to site selection and this great variety. Pale straw in colour, it offers lifted nectarine and white blossom characters. A suggestion of cedar- like oak frames the generous stone-fruit characters and complex chipped shell minerality. The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe stone- fruit nuanced by cashew notes. Bright citrusy acidity ensures a long and seamless finish providing enhanced structure and length.

DAOU Family Estates, DAOU Rosé 2019
Paso Robles, California – USA

Inspired by the iconic dry rosés of Southern France, but produced in Paso Robles, California, this delicately coloured Grenache rosé is delightfully fragrant with fresh strawberries, sliced peach and watermelon. The palate is incredibly refreshing yet smooth, offering juicy flavours of nectarine, orange, strawberry parfait honeydew melon.

SCAIA Rosato IGT Veneto 2019 /2020
Veneto – Italy

SCAIA is one of the brands of Valpolicella pioneers Tenuta Sant’Antonio winery, created with the export market in mind. The SCAIA Rosato IGP Veneto offers a taste of summer and outstanding quality for its price point. Made from 100% Rondinella grapes, which are often reserved for Amarone or Recioto styles and blends, it lets the varietal shine in its own right. Pale pink in colour, it offers floral aromas of roses, alongside raspberries and other red fruits. The palate is well- balanced, fresh and satisfying.

Tenuta Sant’Antonio Nanfrè Valpolicella DOC 2018
Valpolicella, Veneto – Italy

A young Valpolicella consisting of 70% Corvina and 30% Rondinella, vinified in inox, with moderate alcohol, named by Peter Richards MW in Decanter as one of his top lighter reds for summer drinking. Intense bright ruby red in colour, its aromas are fruit-lead, with hints of cherry and red fruit, mingled with floral and spicy nuances. The palate is soft and fresh, fragrant and savoury with moderate tannins.

Nino Negri, Alpi Retiche IGT Bianco 2019
Valtellina, Lombardy – Italy

Alpi Retiche is an extraordinary mountain wine from leading Valtellina producer Nino Negri, which is made from 100% hand-harvested Nebbiolo vinified as a white wine. Elegant and mineral, it offers delicate but distinct aromas with fragrant notes of green apple, lemon, toasted bread, honey and white fleshy fruit; and is dry and fresh on the palate.

Navacusés Enología Cutio Macabeo DO Cariñena 2018
Cariñena, Aragon – Spain 
From one of Spain’s most exciting winemakers Jorge Navascués (of Contino and Zorzal fame), the Cutio Macabeo offers a pure expression of the grape variety, with an outstanding balance. Made from hand-harvested grapes grown on 25 year old vines, the grapes were cold macerated on their skins for 12 hours, before 10 months of lees ageing in concrete vats. Lively and bright in colour, the nose is expressive, pure and complex offering aromas of lemon, green apple, pear and melon. The palate is magnificent and mouth-coating, with pronounced flavour intensity and a long finish.
