INTRODUCTION
This is a standout wine from Richard Kelley MW, aka ‘The Liberator’ who has become one of the most respected authorities on South African wine over the last two decades. The name of the wine is a nod to Vasco da Gama, a 15th century Portuguese explorer and the first European to reach India by sea via the Cape of Good Hope.

A perfect expression of the rich and textured dark fruit character of Portugal’s most revered black grape. Savoury, juicy and rounded with weight and a lovely note of chocolate on the finish.
