INTRODUCTION

After a winter exceptionally without snow, an early rise in temperature at the start of spring pushed the vines into bud. Late spring was dry and summer hot and humid but early September rainfall meant a good ripening. The period from mid-October to the end of November saw a great deal of windy days with low humidity ensuring proper drying and and left the grapes in ideal condition right up until pressing in the first half of December.

TASTING NOTES

Sfursat 5 Stelle DOCG has a medium-intensity ruby colour, on the nose, notes of violet, ripe berry fruit and delicate hints of sweet spices. Fresh, rich and full bodied palate. While young, quite lingering finish.
