INTRODUCTION

“After 20 years making , living and breathing cabernet I am happy to say that the 2018 vintage is the best I have ever experienced. This vintage of the Deepwoods Reserve Cabernet is in my opinion our best ever and will be a wine for the ages” – Julian Langworthy, Chief Winemaker.

TASTING NOTES

Deep crimson with great depth and bright purple hues. Trademark violets and graphite in abundance, with complex notes of dried bay and cedar. Dark cassis aromas tie this exuberant and intense bouquet together. Beautifully ripe and superfine tannins are the hallmark of this wine every year. Flavours of black plums, black cherry and cocoa powder are palate staining and matched by an intense, tightly wound and savoury finish. Medium bodied, the wine shows great balance of natural acidity, fine dense structure and amazing flavour persistence.
