INTRODUCTION
Moscato d’Alessandria is originally from Egypt, and was introduced by the Arabs as “zibibbo” in Pantelleria, where almost all of the national production is still grown. Of Arab origin are also the characteristic terraces of the island where the vines are grown. Zibibbo derives from the arab word “Z’bib” which means raisins (dry grape). It is one of the five aromatic grapes of the world.
TASTING NOTES
