DAOU Family Estates, Soul of a Lion 2018
Paso Robles, California – USA

Soul of a Lion is the crown jewel of Paso Robles pioneers DAOU Family Estates, and an emblem of Georges and Daniel Daou’s quest to produce unsurpassed Cabernet Sauvignon from the terroir of DAOU Mountain. It has impressively also outsold every Napa wine in California in the last two years except for Opus One. A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot, aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak, the highly anticipated 2018 has already received the following outstanding accolades:

Tenuta Sette Ponti, Oreno 2019
Valdarno, Tuscany – Italy

This October, leading Tuscan estate Tenuta Sette Ponti celebrates the 20th anniversary of its flagship wine, Oreno, with the release of the 2019 vintage. Excitingly, the forthcoming vintage of this Bordeaux blend has already received a rare 99 points from James Suckling, who described it as ‘one of the best modern-day Orenos’ and we expect exceptional scores across the board.

“Wow. Fantastic aromas of blackberries, currants, minerals, violets and graphite. Full-bodied with firm, silky tannins that are incredibly polished and intense, yet ever so refined and integrated in the wine. It goes on for minutes. This is one of the best modern-day Orenos so far”.

Orma Estate, Orma 2019
Bolgheri, Tuscany – Italy

Orma is a 5.5 hectare estate nestled in Bolgheri, coastal Tuscany’s outstanding wine region, between two illustrious neighbours, Sassacaia and Ornellaia, whose consistently high-scoring Super Tuscan wine of the same name has been described by James Suckling as a challenger to both. The 2019 has already received 97 points from James Suckling, who has declared it ‘perhaps the best Orma ever’ and 93 points from Jane Anson.

San Giusto a Rentennano, Percarlo 2017
Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany – Italy

Percarlo is San Giusto’s most renowned bottling, made from 100% estate grown Sangiovese, specially selected bunch by bunch from low yielding vines. The grapes are usually matured to an extra degree of ripeness, producing a wine with long ageing potential which is a robust expression of the San Giusto a Rentennano terroir.

San Giusto a Rentennano, La Ricolma 2018
Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany – Italy

La Ricolma is made from 100% Merlot grapes specially selected from prime vineyards and hand-picked when perfectly mature. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, it is matured for 20-22 months in French oak barriques before a further six months of ageing in bottle.
