SCAIA Garganega-Chardonnay is made using the same grapes that can be found in Soave, but it is made with the goal of bringing forth a completely different flavour profile including much more ripe and tropical fruit, reminiscent of some new world Sauvignon Blancs.
SCAIA Garganega-Chardonnay is straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose there are white acacia and jasmine flowers combined with a bouquet of fruits such as citrus, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, apple, pear, mango, and a light note of bananas. In addition to this wide range of sweet aromas there are also herbaceous aroma of tomato leaves and other vegetal notes. On the palate, the flavour is fresh and pleasant thanks to its sustained acidity. SCAIA Garganega-Chardonnay is well-balanced in softness and tanginess, making it inviting and intriguing.
