Scaia Garganega-Chardonnay is made using the same grapes that can be found in Soave, but it is made with the goal of bringing forth a completely different flavor profile including much more ripe and tropical fruit, reminiscent of some new world Sauvignon Blancs.
Scaia Garganega-Chardonnay is straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose there are white flowers of acacia, jasmine combined with a bouquet of fruits such as citrus, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, apple, pear, mango and a light note of bananas. In addition to this wide range of sweet aromas there are also herbaceous aroma of tomato leaves and other vegetal notes. On the palate the flavor is fresh and pleasant thanks to its sustained acidity. Scaia is well balanced in softness and tanginess, making it inviting and intriguing.
