INTRODUCTION

Punt Road’’s ‘Emperor’’s Prize’ vineyard at Coldstream stands as one of the Australian wine industry’s most historic sites. Planted in the 1862, the original vineyards were responsible for many wine awards, including the ‘Emperor’s Prize’ at the 1881 Melbourne International Exhibition.

TASTING NOTE

Emperor’s Prize Pinot Noir is medium bodied with light oaking, On the nose there are aromas of raspberry, ripe cherry, rose petals, graphite and hints of forest floor. On the palate it is silky smooth, rich and at the same time fresh thanks to a healthy acidity.
