A stylish, subtly fruity wine, fresh and drinkable, made exclusively from Grechetto grapes, also known as Strozzavolpe in central Italian popular culture. The name Strozzavolpe evokes the image of a kind of wild animal who, with skill, man succeeds in taming. It brings to mind, in fact, a fable according to which a rather quick-witted fox managed to escape from the hunters guns thanks to its ability to conceal itself only to end up in the hands of a prince who sets a trap at night in which it is strangled. The grapes undergo soft crushing. After natural decantation at a low temperature (6-8°C) and fermentation of the free-run juice with cultured yeasts at a controlled temperature (14-16°C) in stainless steel vats, the new wine continues to mature until it is bottled cold in a sterile environment about 5 months after the harvest.
Luminous straw-yellow colour with golden hues. Subtle, stylish aromas with distinctive tropical fruit and apricot notes. Fresh, velvety flavour, harmoniously balanced by a well-defined, pleasing, bitter peach kernel note in the very lingering finish.
