Project Description

Domaine Condorcet is a 37 hectare estate owned by the Bouche family who bought the property in 1920. Prior to this acquisition Domaine Condorcet was grassland. The generation that procured the property planted vines but squandered this hard work prior to Gerard Bouche replanting vines 40 years ago.

The terroir is mainly composed of round pebbles which store the heat of the day and maintain some of this heat for the vines during the course of the night. All grapes are handpicked by plot, with each plot picked at the optimum time ahead of being sorted to guarantee only the best possible fruit is used. Domaine Condorcet harvests mature grapes, avoiding over ripened berries, in order to create elegant yet powerful wines.
