Project Description

The Casal Farneto wine estate was established in 1995, with an unrelenting commitment to Marche, evident across all aspects of the business, even the labels which are artworks created by Bruno d’Arcevia (originally Bruno Bruni), the critically acclaimed artist who has maintained strong ties to the area throughout his career and fame.

Nestled high amongst the rolling hills of Ancona, in the heart of the Marche region, Casal Farneto’s estate consists of three old farmhouses and a modern, environmentally friendly winery that blends into the natural surroundings. All of Casal Farneto’s wines that are imported by Carson Wines are made from fruit grown on the estate, which comprises of 60 hectares of land of which 32 hectares are reserved exclusively for vines. The vineyards sit 350 metres above sea level, between the sea and the mountains therefore providing Casal Farneto with exceptional viticultural conditions to produce wines of provenance and authenticity.
Part of the Togni Group which was founded in 1950 by Primo Togni, a Verdicchio grape grower and Luigi Togni, Primo’s son. Casal Farneto was acquired by Primo’s grandchildren Paolo and Paola in 2005 when they decided to honour their grandfather by investing in one of Marche’s leading Verdicchio producers.
