Founded by Luigi Bigi in 1880, Bigi has been a champion of Oriveto wine ever since. Located in Ponte Giulio, Bigi’s 136 hectares of vineyards are all located in the classico zone, the oldest of Orvieto DOC.

The winery utilices modern vinification equipment but traditional vineyard management processes throughout the rolling, clay soil hills with altitudes ranging from 150m – 450m. The true expression of the region is encapsulated in the single vineyard, Vigneto Torricella wine, an exceptionally soft and creamy Orvietto Classico.
